Welp, looking back at the site, I did a horrible job posting in all of 2022.

I didn’t even read the post about what my goals were, because chances are really high that I didn’t meet them. I didn’t really prioritize writing at all last year, and looking back, I regret it. Because periods when I was focused on writing were periods of joy. So I hope to re-prioritize it this year.

That being said, I’m going to set more manageable goals. Or at least what I consider manageable:

1.) Finish a full draft of my MG epic fantasy. Ideally, I’d like to be at a place where I can query it by the end of the year, but I will settle for a single, completed draft.
2,) Focus on new craft and apply to different workshops. I have already been accepted to futurescapes which I’m pretty excited for and am planning to apply to the Odyssey workshop (this one only takes 12 people, so it is a bit of a stretch.)
3.) Submit to all four quarters for Writers of the Future
4.) Post to this site at least once a month: either a blog post, a book review, a craft post, or a short story. Just something, at least once a month.

And that’s it. Let’s get after it this year!
